COVID-19 vaccine at busy subway station, New York, NY USA

New York, NY, USA. 12 May, 2021. Thousands of eligible New York City mass transit commuters took advantage of a free Johnson & Johnson one-shot COVID-19 vaccine offered by the New York state government at 8 selected subway and commuter railroad sites beginning on 12 May 2021. As an incentive for vaccination a free 7-day metro pass for travel was offered to commuters who received the coronavirus vaccine while waiting for their subway or commuter train, as part of a new state-run pilot that will bring temporary inoculation sites to some of the city's busiest transit hubs.
