(L, upper corner); personification of Eolus (=Aeolus=guardian of winds) holding bellows (R, upper corner); woman sits on ground under tree & makes floral chaplet (L, lower corner); man sowing (R, lower corner) (BRD) garland of flowers & fruit with ribbons, framed by 2 narrow bands of rope motif that cross, forming squares in corners; (UPR BRD) square corners with snails; (LWR BRD), square corners with masks Possibly woven in Brussels (Campbell). At least 15 panels exist in more than 1 set of this series. The set known as the "Doria Months" has a circular band with angel faces; whereas other panels in another set have an oval band with zodiacal signs in medallions & the name of each month is inscribed below that month's zodiac symbol.
