Along the railway track of Charming Creek Walkway at Watson's Mill a rusty boiler from the old sawmill remains.

From 1929 until 1958 the coal from Charming Creek Mine was transported along a railway running down through the Ngakawau Gorge descending more than a hundred meters to the main railway along the coast of New Zealand's South Island. Along the railway track remain at Watson's Mill a rusty boiler from the old sawmill.
