Architectural plan of the Golden Gate at Diocletian's Palace, built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD. Today the palace forms about half the old town of Split, Croatia. It was built in preparation for the Emperors retirement on 1 May 305 AD.
