At a special meeting of the Controlling Executive of theAssociated Scientific and Technical Societies of South Africa,held in the Scientific and Technical Club, certainimportant resolutions on the strike position were meeting was attended by delegates of the followingconstituent societies: Institute of Engineers, of Electrical Engineers, Chemical, Metallurgical STRIKE Professor Lawn, one of the members of the Conference. and Mining Society of South Africa, Geological Society ofSouth Africa, Witwatersrand Branch of British Medical Association, Association of Transvaal Architects, Association for the Advancement of Science, Association of Assayers, Chemical Institute.
