Tarqui Beach, north of Manta, province of Manabi, is one of the first panoramic images that tourists have at their entrance to the port of Manabi. It is a shipyard, an open-air workshop where 6 to 8 wooden and fiber boats are built each year. They do their work as they learned from their navigational ancestors, the more highly skilled have received one or another course.
