This year the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) competes with mine countermeasure ship USS Champion (MCM 4), Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach, and Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108).
