Chalice, Ciborie donated by Johannes Utenleen to the Oud-Munsterkerk in Utrecht, Ciborie, gilded, unadorned chalice. This is half-egg shaped and has a lid, which is crowned by an eagle, seated on a platform with tilt. The edge of the lid has tracing on a ground of blue translucent enamel and is deposited by an embroidery of lion masks, interspersed with Gothic leaf shapes. The short, cylindrical trunk gradually flows into the round base, which is surrounded by tracing in the same way as the lid and rests on three dragons with wings spread.
