They are adapted to either farmer or fan-cier ; their disposition is gentle, bearing confinement well. As eggproducers, sitters, and mothers, they are very satisfactory. Theyoung are hardy, quick growers, easily reared, and are ready todispose of as spring broilers in from 8 to 10 weeks from persons so inclined, a trial will convince them of their useful-ness.
