NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 4, 2018) Electronics Technician 1st Class Derico Callaway, from Memphis, Tennessee, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), acompanies Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, and Capt. Brent Gaut, Ford's executive officer, during a walkthrough of the ship's aloft areas. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
