Solar furnace. Mirrors at a solar power station being built in the Tabernas district of Spain. These mirrors automatically track the motion of the sun and reflect its rays onto a parabolic reflector. The reflector concentrates the rays onto a dark coated furnace (tower), producing immense amounts of heat that is used for various industrial purposes. This is the European centre for solar experimentation.
