Amy House stands by the remains of her husband, Marine Corps Capt. John A. House II, during a chain of custody ceremony held at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Sept. 13, 2018. House went missing in action on June 30, 1967, when his helicopter went down during a reconnaissance mission over South Vietnam. His wife, accompanied by his son Eric House, received his remains 51 years after his death. The remains will be transported to Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, where he will be buried with full military honors.
