Gen. Ryan F. Gonsalves and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael A. Crosby, 4th Inf. Div. and Fort Carson. The run marked the beginning of Iron Horse Week, Aug. 1-4, a four-day celebration of the Iron Horse Division’s history, camaraderie and esprit de corps. During the week of friendly competition and warrior events, Soldiers prove their mettle earning tournament to champion their units toward the overall objective of earning the Iron Horse Division Commander’s Cup. Events include basketball, flag football, softball, ultimate Frisbee, combatives, combat swim, golf, marksmanship, medical stakes and orienteering.
