London, UK. 7th September, 2016. Gill Thompson, whose brother David Clapson died after his benefits were cut taking part in the road block on Westminster Bridge in a protest calling for 'No More Benefit Deaths'. She holds a heavily redacted report from a Freedom of Information request on one of these deaths. On the day of the opening ceremony for the Paralympics in Rio they called for the new Prime Minister to make public the findings of the UN investigation of UK violations of Deaf and Disabled people’s rights, to scrap the Work Capability Assessment and to end cuts and sanctions which are killing the disabled.
