The National Car Line Co., Chicago, has ordered five 31-ft. steeltank car underframes, mounted on Bettendorf cast-steel trucks, lbs. capacity, from the Bettendorf Axle Co. The Mihvaiikee Refrigerator Transit Co. has ordered 100 cars of 00,000 lbs. capacity from the Milwaukee Co., for May 20 delivery, to weigh lbs. The Forest Cily RaiUcay, Cleveland, Ohio, It is said, is In themarket for 100 pay-as-you-enter cars, and will remodel 50 ordinarycars into the pay-as-you-enter type. This item is not yet confirmed.
