ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 4, 2018) -- Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Kendal Blackmon, from Dallas, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) weapons department, receives his frocking letter from Cmdr. Travis Davis, Ford's gun boss, during a promotion ceremony in the ship's weapons handling area. Ford is currently underway conducting test and evaluation operations.
