The "job" of the new specialist should be to study and assemble the abundance of information al- ready available at the Experiment Station and see that it reaches the growers by keeping county agents posted on up-to-date information, and that the specialist shoulo as- sume the major responsibilities for teaching growers the late cultural practices. The specialist should be responsible for an insect collection which could be used at meetings and demonstrations. The specialist would assist the station in collect- ing field data, and should spend a good part of his time in the field; he should learn the growers' prob- lems and there should be more demonstrations. To Prepare CRANBERRIES Articles The specialist should assist the Experiment Station, assist Crop Reporting Service in obtaining re- liable reports; assist Conservation Sei-vice; Agricultural Conservation Program; National Cranberry As- sociation; New England Cranberry Sales Company; Cape Cod Cran- berry Growers' Association; the four cranberry clubs, and any oth- er organization working for good of the industry.
