Stela of Amenemopet, a Priest of Senwosret I, New Kingdom, Dynasty 18, ca. 1479–1391 , From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Limestone, h. cm (12 1/2 in); w. cm (8 3/4 in); th. cm (1 7/8 in), A man named Amenemopet dedicated this stela to members of his family. His father, Pahur, and mother, Mery, are seated at the upper left and receive offerings from Amenemopet. Behind Mery's chair is another son whose name is not preserved
