This type of blower is very efficient, as is indi-cated by the fact that it is but one-half the size, two-thirds the weight and delivers 20 per cent more air thanits equivalent in the blade type of fan. The blower hassufficient capacity to furnish from 300 cu. ft. to 500cu. ft. of fresh air per minute, depending upon the sizeof the heater and the speed of the fan. The motorwhich drives this fan was designed especially for thisforced ventilation electric heater, and it is both lightin weight and as small in size as consistent with goodpractice. The motor is entirely inclosed to make itdustproof, and a hinged cover is provided over thecommutator to make access easy to the brushes andfor inspection. All of the heater motors are ins
