From a regenerate heart within;— LVIII That not, how outwardly descended,*The fitness for Gods kingdom be. But on the God-like mind every soul, eternally.*— LIX The magna charta of laws in Gods kingdom they prevail. The perfect Way ® of holy livingMen nevermore thus now can fail ! LX Thus in that sermon Christ beholding—As neer a man was seen before— Gods kingdom royally® unfolding: All Christ as Gods Son should Part IX. 101 LXI That sermon the high message bearing— As it Christs majesty became —Such words: Not to destroy declaring, But to fulfil, I, Gods Son, came:^ LXII In its judicial application By Christ to all the world made Him, in fullest demonstration. Creator of Gods laws has shown. LXIII Christs rule of service was upsetting Mens hearts, whereer to preach He went. In each eternal life ^ begetting. Where He His gospels arrows sent! LXIV Thus Christ was no misguiding He said stands as highest truth^ He is the truly model-preacher. No man was eer His peer forsooth! LXV No wonder, all—that sermon ending, ** Astonished —it all well did please— ** Christs teaching* deemed by far transcendingThat of the Scribes and Pharisees.
