On each abdominal segment is a very large triangular spot reaching nearly to the posterior margin, and of a shining pearl colour, with brilliant shining silvery reflections. Hypopygium velvet black, only the claspers a little paler, the last joint of simple structure. Legs blackish; femora brownish yellow towards the base. Halteres brownish. yellow with black clubs.
