Swiss Re Tower, Tower 42, & Minster Court, London.
Commonly known as the Gherkin, the Swiss Re Building or Swiss Reinsurance Tower, London, England, is built on the site of the former Baltic Exchange, which was destroyed by an IRA bomb during their terrorist activities in London. The Swiss Re Tower is, along with Tower 42, formerly the National Westminster Building, the most distinctive addition to the London skyline in recent years, and is an important addition to the architectural heritage of the city.
