The many valuablepublic records of the county are consideredsafe within its walls. The building is of modern style of architect-ure, and is three stories in height above thebasen)ent. The basement story is built ofSagetown limestone, which gives the structurethe appearance of solidity, and is in beautifulcontrast with the red brick with which are builtthe exterior walls of the main and secondstories.
