Bluebells & Trees in Strid Wood part of the Dales Way Long Distance Footpath Wharfedale Yorkshire
Strid Wood in Wharfedale Yorkshire is part of the Duke of Devonshire’s Estate and is on The Dales Way long distance footpath which stretches for about 80 miles from Ilkley to Bowness-on-Windermere. As far as possible the Dales Way follows riverside tracks and offers a scenically attractive route through the Yorkshire Dales. As indicated by its name the route is predominantly at a low level and follows the valleys of the Rivers Wharfe, Dee, Lune and Kent.
