Head and thorax black-brown suffused with metallic green ; hind femora above and the fringe of hair on tibia pale crimson ; abdomen crimson with the extremity black, the lateral tufts of hair white. Fore wing black-brown suffused with metallic green. Hind wing deep crimson with a black-brown terminal band, rather broad at apex and narrowing to a point at submedian fold where it terminates.
