A Marine with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit dives near the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during a swim call in Aqaba, Jordan, June 22, 2013, after the conclusion of exercise Eager Lion 2013. The Kearsarge was the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and was deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Eager Lion is a Central Command-directed, irregular warfare-themed exercise focusing on missions the United States and its coalition partners might perform in support of global contingency operations.
