Snout longer than eye, diameter of which is greater than interorbital width and 4I to 4^ in length of head. Maxillary extending to below anterior part of eye; lower jaw strongly projecting. A single series of small teeth of varying sizes in both jaws; three pairs of strong canines. Fig. 41.
