The Japanese temple, also known as the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple is a two-storied white building built in a traditional Japanese style founded by Fujii Guruji in the year 1972 as Buddhist order for world peace. Fujii Guruji was a close associate of 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhi and had seen the tragedy of the atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
