"THE FERN MEN" Mention The Review when you Write. INDIANAPOLIS. The Market. Business last week was nothing to 'boast of. While there was a little fu- neral work, trade is not what it should 'be for this time of the year. Stock is 'not overplentiful and the prices will be stiff for Thanksgiving. Roses, Beau- ties and carnations are scarce. There lis a fair supply of mums, but the prices will be firm. The pompon varieties have been in fair demand, but the prices have not been as high as heretofore. East- ern double violets are being shipped in daily and have been selling well. Various Notes. Bertermann Bros. Co. has the new conservatory completed and ready for business. This is a modern greenhouse, with an elegant entrance on Delaware street. There is a cellar under the en- tire house and, with the additional room and conveniences, this should add ma- terially to the facilities for handling the ever increasing business. Ernest Fisher, with A. Wiegand & Sons, has a new baby girl at his house. Jay Lytle, with the same firm, spent a couple of days in Brown county hunt- ing last week. He says there is noth- ing to it, as four rabbits were the ex- tent of his bag. W. W. Coles, of Kokomo, was in the city last week, attending the ceremonial of the Mystic Shrine. Robert Fohl, with the Indianapolis Flower & Plant Co., is the proud father of a baby girl. J. J. Karins, with Henry A.
