Parsonage Wood is at the top of Ruckles Field above Old Amersham and has been well preserved over centuries. It retains the unique nature of Chiltern beech woods and has particular fine colours in autumn. This image taken with a Canon 1Ds Mk III and has great detail allowing big enlargements. Even the smallest leaves are distinguishable. The wide angle lens has the branches appearing to come out of the image.
