Ascot, Berkshire, UK. 28th May, 2023. Felled trees at the former Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot. The hospital is being demolished and replaced with housing by builders Taylor Wimpey. The much cherished and historic hospital where many locals were born, was formerly used by the United Services Fund for the children of ex-servicemen from the First World War. 230 homes will be built on the site including apartments and houses. A new hospital has been built in Ascot to replace it. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
