Ely, UK. 3rd April, 2014. The sun struggles to shine through a dust laden sky just after dawn near Ely in the Cambridgeshire Fens 3rd April 2014. The haze is caused by weather systems bringing polluted air from Europe and dust from the Sahara desert. It was particularly noticeable across the flat landscape of the Fens. Atlantic weather is set to freshen the atmosphere from tomorrow. Credit: Julian Eales/Alamy Live News
