A supporter of the Community trade union which represents steel workers in the United Kingdom, waving a flag at a demonstration in the centre of Port Talbot. People gathered to protest about the planned job losses at Port Talbot steel works, the UK's largest, which had been announced in January 2016 by the plant's owners Tata Steel. There has been a steelworks at Port Talbot since the original plant was established between 1901-05, and when the 2016 announcement was made, around 4000 people were employed at the site.
