As an ingredient, the green Mustard imparts a delightfully pungent flavor to the various forms of prepared salads. Per early crops the seed may be sown in a hot-bed in March, and for general crop at frequent intervals through the spring, in drills from eight to twelve inches apart. White London. The best variety for salads ; the seed is also used medicinally, and as a seasoning for pickles. Per oz., 5 cts.; J4 'D" 15 cts.; lb., 40 cts. 0 Black or Brown. An esteemed sort for culinary use.
