Mr. Fiedler has had heavy funeral work to contend with, so much, in fact, that at times it was impossible to secure sufficient stock. Yet orders had to be taken care of and it was neces- sary to educate his patrons along such lines that he would be able to procure the stock to fill their wants. For in- stance, one morning last week he had twelve dozen mums, which cost him $4 or $5 per dozen wholesale. These, of course, had to be made into sprays and helped him out on his design work.
