, Germany, Berlin, - Colourful balloons in front of the Victory Column at Grofler Stern in Tiergarten during the 2023 techno parade Rave the Planet, the former annual cult event of the capital from 1989 to 2006. The techno parade takes place on Strasse des 17. Juni between the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate. The organisers are campaigning for the recognition and preservation of electronic dance music and club culture as a cultural enrichment and achievement, including UNESCO cultural heritage, and at one point expected over 200,000 participants.
