José Marina Vega (1850 - 1926) Spanish military and political leader. as captain and commander in the Third Carlist War ( 1872-1876) , as Colonel from 1893 to 1898 in the Philippines and Cuba alongside General Camilo Garcia Polavieja Africanist , ( 1838-1914 ). Appointed on March 22, 1918 Minister of War , held the portfolio until November of that year. He was subsequently lifetime Senator from 1919 until his death in 1926 .
