Wild dogs endangered species
Wild dogs are an endangered species and only four to five thousand live in the wild. The dogs in the picture live at The Anne van Dyk Cheetah Centre where they are raised and then released into the wild as part of a wild pack. If a pack of these dogs are released they do not know how to hunt and have to rely on wild dogs in the wild to show them how. The wild dogs have an 80% success rate when hunting compared to 30% for lions
