I lay specialstress on this phenomenon as it seems to be not acci-dental, for it has been brought under my notice fourtimes out of the twenty-six post-mortem examinationsI have made of epilepsy, and in three more occasionsthe cerebellum participated in a slight degree of thedegeneration of the medulla, no trace whatever of itbeing detected in the brain.
