The Father, soldier and editor, is in good health at 76 years, except for "rheumatism"; formula, 180/69 inches; build (38). His father, a black- smith, who was killed by the kick of a horse, had the formula 160/69 inches; build (34). The Father's mother, who had a large family and died of dropsy, at 74 vears had the formula 200/66 inches; build (46). Thus this side of the house is prevailingly of fleshy build. The Mother, with 10 children, had an attack of pneumonia and died at 56 of throat and bronchial trouble and had the formula 120/65 inches; build (28).
