Four vultures of different species, 1723. Like old men gossiping on the village square, four birds of prey present themselves here: a Black Vulture, a young Griffon Vulture, a King Vulture and an adult Griffon Vulture. As part of Prince Eugen's menagerie, they lived in the garden of the Belvedere and were tame. The animal specialist de Hamilton is characterized by his excellent powers of observation.
