In order to give a just idea of the Khasne, itwould be necessary to illustrate the views takenof it in its actual state by an engraving, represent-ing it in the form which the architect had origin-ally conceived. This restoration, though by nomeans attended with difficulty, inasmuch as themonument itself is well preserved, would, however,require the most minute care in order to adhere toits genuine style, without deviating into modes ofarrangement which too often spoil restorationaltogether.
