Palau woman holds baby giant clam - Tridacna derasa - on beach of Palau Pacific Resort Resort. Beach is a clam preserve and guests are encouraged to take part in the hotel plant a clam program by swimming a short way from shore and putting a baby giant clam in the sand. Some 2000 clams have been planted since 1998
