View over the rooftops of the shanty town of Thomas, a suburb of Sidi Moumen (in the background), about 15 miles from Casablanca, Morocco. Several 1,000 moroccans live here with water coming from stan pipes fresh and often lacking electricity. 11 of the islamic terrorists envolved in the Casablanca bombing of a Spanish owned restaurant last May are believed to have been recruited from Thomas.
