Vehicles travel across the I-10 Twin Span Bridge across Lake Pontchartrain, Dec. 12, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The bridge, also known as the Frank Davis Memorial Bridge, consists of two parallel trestle bridges connecting the cities of Slidell and New Orleans. The bridge replaces a previous bridge damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The eastbound span opened in 2009, and the westbound span opened in 2010. The entire bridge officially opened in 2011.
