Market Street,Harrisonburg, in a building that now forms part of the resi-dence of James Kavanaugh. Academy Street marks theplace. From 1859 or 1860, for two or three years, he wasprincipal of Pleasant Grove Academy, located on the ValleyPike, two miles south of Mt. Crawford.
