Robben Island, famous for being the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 27 years, is a sliver of land just off the coast of the city of Cape Town, South Africa. This photograph was taken from Signal Hill and shows the apartments that line the Atlantic seaboard in Greenpoint as well as the infamous prison island.
