In the former case it is best to unroll thefilm only to the figure 7 on the cover paper, leaving thesecond half rolled up until needed to prevent fog. In thelatter case the strength of the tank developer can be regulatedto permit the films being finished about the time that one,two or more other shorter films have been manipulated inthe tray. 286.
