The two men wore short sarongs around their loins,the womens dress, though somewhat shorter; otherwisethey were nude except for bands, to which numeroussmall metal rattles were attached, running over eithershoulder and diagonally across chest and back. After apreliminary trial, during which one of them danced withmuch elan, he said: I felt a spirit come down in mybody. This will go well. The music was provided bytwo men who sat upon long drums and beat them withfervour and abandon.
