Heide II is a 1964 Modernist design building made of white limestone that is one of four main buildings on the site of the Heide Museum of Modern Art

After owning the property and living in the original farmhouse from the 1930's the Heide II building was built as a new home for art collectors and benefactors John and Sunday Reed. From 1964 It was their home until it was purchased by the Victorian government and established as a public gallery. The building was always designed to be a gallery as well as a home.
